About Us

Who Owns the Pool?
About the NHNSPA
The Northern Hills Neighborhood Swimming Pool Association (NHNSPA) owns the Northern Hills Swimming Pool. NHNSPA is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization, established in 2003 in order to purchase the pool and to assure a secure future for this vital resource and amenity for Northern Hills and the surrounding area. We are committed to successfully operating the pool so that it remains a valuable asset for all Northern Hills residents. We welcome the assistance and/or input of everyone interested in helping to make this pool (and the surrounding community) the best that it can be for the benefit of all.

About the NHN Swim Club
For technical reasons, the NHNSPA leases the Pool to the Northern Hills Neighborhood Swim Club (NHNSC) which in-turn solicits Pool memberships, hires staff, and operates the active Pool. The NHNSPA board and the NHNSC board are the same volunteers, doing the same jobs, upholding the same responsibilities.

Questions? Comments? Contributions? Feel free contact any of the NHNSPA leaders below, or write us info@northernhillspool.org.

Northern Hills Pool Board:
Who are these people?
These folks are your neighbors and friends. They are all volunteers, giving of their own time, tears, sweat, and treasure. They have made a commitment to work to assure a secure future for our community Pool. You do not need to be a Pool board member in order to help the Pool. All you need is the desire to help. Please contact us.

How can I get on the board?
Elections are held every year in January. A notice of our annual public meeting is posted on this website, as well notices sent to all Pool members. At this meeting, nominations are accepted and elections are held. Directors serve three year terms.

How does the board work?

After the annual public election, the board meets to elect officers. The board meets on the First Tuesday of almost every month. Budgets, committees, plans, operations, and commitments are considered and approved by a quorum of the board. We are usually looking to find enough resources to match up with our to-do list and we welcome all the help we can get!
